About Me

I am James LaRocque and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in New Hampshire. I am currently in my third year of college at Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Boston, MA, studing Computer Networking.

My Interests

Computers - Computers have always been a huge part of my life. Ever since I was in the second grade I have been fascinated with them. Always trying to figure out how they worked, taking them a part, building them, etc. I am also skilled with most operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux).
Music - Another huge part of my life. In the fifth grade I began taking saxophone lessons and playing in the school band. I have also taught myself howto play bass guitar, which is now my primary focus, with which I have dabbled with a few bands. I am also always listening to music I've got to have some kind of beat. It is rare to find without some form of music.
Photography - My love for photography start young but I have recently been reunited with this love. As a senior in high school I took a photography course with my parent's old Pentax K1000 35mm camera. Within the past few monthes I have purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XSi and I am always looking for my next great shot.
Aviation - I also have an interest in aviation however I have not been able to explore it to much. I have played with flight simulators and took a basic concepts class revolving around the simulator. I hope that some day I will be able to explore this further and possibly get my private pilot license.
